Sinking of pipes in Stobrec/Split (Croatia) completed

After almost two years being stored on the open sea our large diameter pipes (2.958m, main pipe and diffuser, dimension 1000, SDR 22, produced and delivered by Pipelife Norge, Norway) were now placed on the sea bottom. Due to the rotation of the pipes caused by temperature differences in the pipe wall the pipes survived this period of time without damages.

The sinking job was excellently performed by MONTMONTAZA -HIDROINZENJERING and POMGRAD INZENJERING. Pipelife Norway provided them some help through an experienced consultant from Norway.
The next task will be the outfall in Sibenik where a complete design package, including sinking procedures and education in outfall maintenance, was sold by us to Montmontaza. The package was produced by the best European consultants in this field.
