Pipelife startet already in the year 1990 with its strategy "Go East" with a Joint Venture in Hungary. In the following years this strategy was consequently continued with the start of activities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Croatia. Today, Pipelife operates 10 plants in its Eastern Region. Recently sales activities in the Ukraine and Bulgaria were started and a sales office in Moscow was opened. Due to non existing distribution networks in these markets, Pipelife has built up its own sales system and operates today over 70 warehouses in the Region. The speciality of this system can be characterized with total customer orientation, innovation and system supply. In addition to our "Go East" strategy, we have continously build up a significant market position in Southern Europe and Pipelife is today one of the main suppliers for the very large and important irrigation market. Additionally, Pipelife produces the whole range of products for Hot & Cold applications in Turkey. The activities in the Southern part of Europe serve also as an important base for exports to Near East, Asia and North Africa.
