Providing for safe and hygienic water supply and discharge is crucial for our communities' health and resilience. This has become all the more evident in times of the pandemic. Pipelife Hungary is proud to have ensured this for a mobile epidemic diseases hospital in Hungary.
The construction of the epidemiological mobile hospital in Kiskunhalas was decided by the government after the appearance of the Covid19 epidemic in Hungary. The newly built hospital is able to care for 150 patients at a time, which represents relief to hospitals overcharged due to the epidemic.
Pipelife Hungary is pleased the construction products reached the institution through partners.
Radopress composite piping systems were used for hot and cold water supply of the social rooms of the mobile hospital. "As only Hungarian manufacturer of the five-layer, oxygen-diffusion-free piping system, we are proud our people can count on us in such an important situation. In addition, we played a major role in the utility supply system, as our PE (polyethylene) drinking water system and sewer system were also used for their construction", says Laszlo Vajda, General Manager of Pipelife Hungary and Romania and adds, "Let's take care of each other in these difficult times!"
